Slipping on by

It is winter here in Perth now. That means almost every day there are rain squalls coming through every 30 minutes or so. This rain makes riding the train to work fun. When the rails get wet, the train conductors sometime have problems stopping. Like this morning. It is fun to watch the passengers waiting on the platform witness their train slide past, brakes squeeling, coming to a stop way past the station. Sometimes the conductor just gives up and keeps going, leaving the passengers stranded.
